Hi, I'm Celal
I graduated in Hospitality and Tourism Experience Management and I still work in hospitality and host events. Today I'm also an IT student at Haaga-Helia. I enjoy solving problems for people, and IT lets me do that on a bigger scale.

Hospitality studies
Hospitality and Tourism Experience Management. For my thesis I developed a prototype of a gamified tourism app and tested it with real tourists. It was my first time designing a digital product, and it's where my interest in IT began.

Customer service, teamwork and staying calm on busy days.

Studying BIT at Haaga-Helia
Learning to build websites and digital services, and looking for an IT internship.
What I bring
The skills from hospitality are not something I left behind. They are my strength in IT.
People first
Years of customer service taught me to listen and understand what the user really needs.
Organised
Planning events means deadlines, details and many people. The same skills keep a project on track.
Calm under pressure
When something goes wrong at an event, you fix it calmly. That is how I approach bugs too.
